2018 Results and Information

The world-renowned San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, awarded PRCA Large Indoor Rodeo of the Year for over a decade, set a new record for total Rodeo attendance in the AT&T Center for the 2018 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo. Featuring top rodeo athletes, the best bucking stock in North America and a variety of performances from award-winning artists, 18 of 21 Rodeo performances were at capacity with more than 16,500 tickets sold.


No matter what your favorite music genre is, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo strives to provide entertainment for everyone. This year the rotating stage played host to some of the hottest names in country music, classic rock music for the ages, a few rising stars and hip-swaying Latin music that had the whole crowd dancing! Rodeo Results 

In an effort to improve each year, the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo added exciting family-friendly attractions and events for patrons. We also partnered with Bullfighters Only to host a freestyle bullfight during Xtreme Bulls that gave fans even more reason to cheer. These bullfighters competed for a $25,000 purse while PRCA rodeo athletes vied for over $1.7 million, the largest payout in a regular season rodeo.

Livestock Results

Within the world’s largest junior livestock show, there were a record number of over 20,000 entries. The Cross Bred Gilt Show was an added event that had a tremendous turnout. The Grand Champion Junior Market Steer sold for $110,000 with $80,000 auctioned for the Reserve Junior Market Steer, edging out last year. Currently at $6 million, total auction contributions have exceeded 2017 and are expected to climb with add-on contributions open until March 15, 2018. Horse Show Results & Sale Information

With 18 days of non-stop competition, the Horse Show Arena always draws a crowd. From Youth oriented competitions such as our Youth Rodeo, Horse Skillathon and Youth Horse Challange, to NCHA Cutting, Open Shows and Team Penning there's always something to see. This year the Youth Rodeo added new events such as bull riding and bronc riding. Grounds Attractions

Pompeyo Family Dog Show – The Pompeyo Family Dog Show is run by Jorge, a 4th generation Circus performer from Columbia, and Natalya, a Russian gymnast. After rescuing a few dogs and realizing they could entertain crowds with their new companions they hit the road and joined a circus. They have been performing together for over ten years throughout the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean with extraordinary success. (*Performing Feb. 8-13).

X-POGO Stunt Team – The X-POGO Stunt Team is always ready to perform high flying tricks for fans all across the world. They have performed over 10,000 shows in 23 countries while earning 23 Guinness World Records! (*Performing Feb. 14-19).

Chicago Boyz – The Chicago Boyz Acrobatic Team is a professional gymnastics troupe consisting of talented young men and boys from the Chicagoland area. Their performance includes amazing acrobatic stunts and tricks inside twirling jump ropes, catapulting off mini trampolines and thundering tumbling routines with impeccable timing. Butterfly Encounter – Visitors will have an opportunity to be surrounded by hundreds of butterflies as they walk throughout the exhibit. You can learn about the butterfly life cycle and there will be presentations on how to fix a broken wing.

Texas Longhorns 101 – These gorgeous longhorns are native to Bandera, Texas. Texas Longhorns 101 is all about education and giving back where they can. If running a longhorn-ranch wasn’t enough, they find time to educate as many city slickers as they can about the beauty and grace of longhorns and country living.
