
The San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo is excited to introduce Bustin’-in-the-Barn,
a fairgrounds Mutton Bustin’ experience presented by Huggies! More than
1,400 contestants will have an opportunity to compete on the fairgrounds
during the 2020 San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo.
CONTESTANT ELIGIBILITY
- Boys and Girls between the ages of 4-7 years old
- Must weigh less than 55 lbs. fully clothed at the time of the performance
- Selected contestants will pay a $35 entry fee, all sales are final
- Parents must fill out the Medical Questionnaire
- Parents must sign and notarize the Rodeo Release Form

WALK-UP CONTESTANTS
February 6 – 20, 2020 – All Scheduled 3:00 PM & 7:00 PM Performances
Come to the designated line on the fairgrounds one hour prior to the scheduled
performance to compete. Number of rider spots depends on amount of pre-registered riders - reserve your spot ahead of time to not miss out!!

WILDCARD PERFORMANCE – Friday, February 21, 2020
Here is the path a contestant must take to ride in the AT&T Center
- Become a Pre-registered or Walk-up Contestant
- Get the highest score of their performance
- Be highest score contestant drawn from their bracket
JUDGES/SCORING
Contestants will receive scores based on:
- Rider personality
- Sheep difficulty
- Time & distance on sheep

TOP QUESTIONS:
1. Where do we turn-in the medical questionnaire and release form? Please bring the notarized forms to the Bustin' in the Barn location on the fairgrounds at 3201 E Houston St.
2. Will safety equipment be provided? Yes - vest and helmets will be provided
3. What should the rider wear? Jeans, boots or closed toe shoes and a long sleeve, button down shirt are recommended attire
4. What time should we be there? Riders need to check in no later than 30 minutes prior to their scheduled performance time
